A couple is two people, each with their own lifespan, health, work and records, and either can die first. What happens then is the law's for a spouse, and the law's for a cohabitant.
Each person has their own mortality, health, work, PRSI class, pensions and tax records. Married couples and civil partners are taxed as the law taxes them, and cohabitants as theirs; a marriage can be planned for a date in the future.

Each holding is the client's, the partner's or joint, and a home held as tenants in common carries its shares. Ownership follows the money: what one person's income buys is theirs. What passes at a death, and any rent payable if the home leaves with the deceased, is set on the form.
For a couple, the Overview shows how the one left fares if either dies first, and a decision page splits the plan's futures by who dies first, both sides side by side.

Laoise and Darragh live together and own their home as tenants in common, so at a death CAT under Group C, the dwelling-house relief and the Bereaved Partner's Pension's years-together test all apply.
Every page of the dashboard is in the demo, on example households, with their brief and pack.
